According to tweets from official club twitter pages of some Super Eagles players, SpotKik can confirm this moment that a surprise call up has been handed to Deportivo la Coruna 18-year-old goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho.

Also, Ado Den Haag’s twitter page also confirm the invitation of right-back Tyrone Ebuehi for international duties.

Tyrone is yet to make his competitive debut for Nigeria after agreeing to commit to Nigeria early in the year. He featured for Nigeria in an unofficial friendly away to the Spanish island of Corsica.
The Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, is expected to — any time from now — name his 25 man list that will prosecute the November 6th dead-rubber World Cup Qualifier against Algeria, and the international friendly with Argentina which will place five days later.
Earlier in the day, scorenigeria.com.ng quoted the Super Eagles spokesman, Toyin Ibitoye as saying:
“We should not expect players who have not been in the pool of players the coach has worked with,”Ibitoye said.
“There will be 25 players called up with two others on standby.
While the invitation of Uzoho may have come as a surprise, should Ibitoye’s remarks be anything to go by, we do not expect any major shake up in the squad that prosecuted the last world cup qualifier against Zambia.
SpotKik will bring you updates as the names of invited players trickle in.
