Turkish football website, FutbolArena reports that Rizespor has been able to effect a transfer of out-of-favor Super Eagles midfielder, Nosa Igiebor from Macabbi Tel Aviv of Israel.
The site says that Igiebor’s plane is scheduled to leave Israel at 2100 hours local time today, as he is expected to put pen on paper on deadline day tomorrow.
Çaykur Rizespor manager, Hikmet Karaman, pushed for the transfer to ensure that it was realized before the close of the transfer window.
Nosa Igiebor will be Rizespor’s second Nigerian to be acquired during the current round of signings, after Bright Edomwonyi was snapped up from Austrian Bundesliga side, Sturm Graz earlier. Bright debuted last week Friday in their home win over Kardemir Karabuk. Rizespor also has Super Eagles defender, Godfrey Oboabona, in their roaster.
